Lesson 8: Environmental Information and Understanding as the basis for change

A final word and, Thanks!!

This course has touched upon a wide range of topics, many you may at first not have considered as being “environmental”. You will hopefully now have a solid grasp of key environmental concepts and issues.

The importance of managing the environment and its resources in a sustainable manner will now be clear to you and importantly, you will be able to share your new insights. Maybe you may even want to recommend this course to friends and colleagues. For me, your instructor, it has been a welcome challenge to share some of my knowledge of environmental issues with you as an exploring student.

If at the end of this course the need to make meaningful changes at the personal level as well as at community and institutional levels is now seen by you as important and necessary, this exploration into environmental management issues will have led to a real discovery: it is never to late to act.

Thank you for your interest and all the best in your further ventures,

Glenn Brigaldino Suite-University Instructor
