Lesson 7: Tours & Transportation

Whether you want to go on a quick tour for a couple of hours or on a charter for a couple of days, there is a wide variety of tours available in the Victoria area.

Rail

Via Rail "Malahat"
Enjoy a trip up-island on the "E & N Railiner" to Duncan, Chemainus, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach with Courtney as the final destination. The ticket allows passengers to have unlimited stopover privileges at any of the towns along the way. Departures from Victoria on Monday to Saturday are at 8:15am. The train returns to Victoria at 5:45pm. On Sunday, the train leaves Victoria at 12:00pm and returns at 9:40pm. If you purchase your ticket up to 7 days in advance, there is a discount. Seniors (60+) and children receive an additional discount.
