Victoria BC TourismLesson 5: Parks & BeachesLangford Mill Hill Regional Park Goldstream Provincial Park Sooke Lake Road (off Hwy 1) Located at the southern end of Malahat Drive, this large park is well known for the salmon in the Goldstream River from late October to December. The run attracts bald eagles that hover around the river. The nature centre is open during the summer and fall where visitors can see exhibits and film presentations. There is a large picnic area and campground. This is a popular park for hikers, especially the challenging trail up Mount Finlayson, which is one of the highest peaks in the area.
