There are two main collections, one is the University Collection which contains over 6,000 items from contemporary Western Canadian artists. In addition to the collection within the gallery, there are exhibits featured throughout the campus buildings. The Maltwood Collection is a bequest from Mr. and Mrs. Maltwood. Besides their own works, they collected works of art during their numerous world travels. Several times a year, this collection goes on display in the University Centre Exhibition Gallery.
