Lesson 8: Having fun!

Yes, it’s true. We don’t sit around the kitchen table and drill math facts all day! Find out some of the things you can do that are so much fun you will swear it isn’t really school!

Online Field Trips

We love field trips at my house. There is no better way to end a study of a particular subject than to "see" what we have been studying. But what do you do if you are studying Mexico? Hop on a plane and plan your fiesta? I didn't think so.

We have found virtual field trips to be a great way to keep the airfare bill down. Sure, you aren't racking up frequent flyer miles, but you don't have to eat airplane food, either. Here is a list of just some of the virtual field trips we have taken over the years. (I told you we liked them!)
