Healthy Snacking 101

I know what you are thinking. What could snacking possibly have to do with homeschooling. Well, at my house, quite a bit. I have noticed that when we don't stop for a snack break, we don't get as much work done, and the quality of the work that is done isn't what it could be. So, we went on the search for the ultimate healthy snacks. In my house, it isn't enough to just be healthy; it has to be yummy, too.

Get your printer ready! Here is a list of 101 of our favorite healthy snacks! Some of them are quick, some of them take a little time, but all of them are good! Enjoy!

1. Low-Fat Fast Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
2. Baked tortilla chips with salsa
3. Homemade Baked Tortilla Chips
4. Frozen Grapes
5. The Mother of All Smoothies
6. Vegetable sticks
7. Low Fat Chewy granola bars
8. Quick and Easy Mini Pizza
9. Celery sticks filled with fat-free cream cheese
10. Cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices tossed with fat-free Italian dressing

12. Jello Jigglers (Try making them with sparkling water!)

78. Spray fat free flour tortillas with cooking spray. Dust with cinnamon sugar and bake long enough to warm.
79. Savory Pita Bites (Split open mini pitas, spray lightly with cooking spray, sprinkle with your favorite seasoning. Bake 350 degrees till crisp.)

82. Top a saltine cracker with a few mini marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees till marshmallows are browned.
