How do people from other countries see Americans? Newsweek magazine showed the following list of qualities to people in Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Mexico, and West Germany and asked them which qualities do they least and most associate with Americans. I found the answers in an exercise created by the Peace Corps. Finding it interesting, I also did my own research which included a seventh country, the Netherlands. And guess what, the results were consistent.

So here are the qualities. Which do you think were the most and least associated with Americans?
