Lesson 8: Finding Resources on FibroMake Everyday Tasks EasierAnother area well worth researching is one that will help you to locate tool and devices that will make life easier for you. The Fibromyalgia Network has an area recommending Living Aids - products tested and recommended by their members and by medical practitioners. You'll find many more at Life With Ease, a site developed by a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine to help some of his patients with disabilities to keep on functioning. Note - I am not affiliated with either of these except as a customer. I have discovered that with the right tools you can do more than you might imagine. In fact, with my ergonomic gardening tools, in some cases I am able to do more than I could before. Speaking of ergonomic tools - they do not have to be tools for the handicapped - simply well-designed tools. Fiskars has devoted a lot of time to making ergonomically comfortable and correct tools and has won many awards for them.
