Latin American Dance
The term 'Latin Dance' includes various types of ballroom and folk dance originating in Latin America, including Cuba and Puerto Rico.
Dances like the cha-cha, rumba, samba, and merengue are seen on dance floors everywhere and each part of the region has its folk dances, such as the chacarera, gato, escondido and zamba of Argentina, and the morenada, kullawada and caporales of Bolivia.
