Irish Affairs
In this section, we want to offer a range of quality articles about the island of Ireland. That is to say, both the southern part, the Republic of Ireland (Eire) and the northern part (Ulster).
Although separate countries within the European Union, Ireland and Northern Ireland (and therefore mainland Britain) have had a past that has been troubled, friendly, mutually beneficial and, at times, hostile.
We want to show readers the history, the geography, the environment, the cultures, the traditions, the politics and economics and the people who make up this incredible part of Europe. We expect to publish articles from both sides of the sectarian divides, and none. We want to show the shared/common heritages and the differences.
