Intergalactic Films

Films set in outer space, often far into the future, offer viewers the opportunity to see distant planets and strange new worlds with endless possibilities. From the classic film 2001: A Space Odyssey to James Cameron’s recent blockbuster smash Avatar, they have spectacular special effects and imaginative stories.

The big intergalactic franchises Star Trek and Star Wars have amassed many movies between them and legions of loyal fans. Space exploration can often be dangerous and confusing, whether you are alone (Moon), with a team (Sunshine) or even with a squad of trained marines (Aliens).
