Horror Fiction
Horror fiction at its best results in gasps and surprise, whether from masters such as Stephen King, Clive Barker and Jeff Lindsay or from newer authors who combine nightmares with unescapably well-written fiction, forcing readers to take the journey of horror. While considered by some to be a less substantial form of fiction, horror fiction instead deserves appreciation for the innate high requirements of creativity and terror in a desensitized world, earning the genre millions of fans.
