Health Psychology
Health Psychology pertains to behavior, environment, belief and attitude related to physical health. Diabetes and smoking are two examples of health affected by lifestyle and are both addressed by health psychologists. Health psychologists now work closely with physicians and are important in advising on prevention as well as cure.
Another aspect of health psychology is how physical health is related to mental health. Anemia can affect mental health, as can heart problems and diabetes, among others.
