European Film Festivals

Europe's many film festivals provide important platforms for exhibition both of international and Hollywood originated movies. The major ones we have covered at Suite 101 include the Berlinale, London, Venice, Lucca and Amsterdam.

The Berlinale kicks off the Festival year in February with insights into the year's new productions. Edinburgh is in June, and the British Film Institute's London Film Festival rounds off the year, sometimes offering both launches of new movies and retrospectives of the work of iconic elder filmmakers.
