European Literature
European Literature
Diverse in language, culture and history, European Literature represents texts from medieval traditions to more modern accounts of revolution, war, love and everyday life.
Predominantly featuring works in English or English translations of original texts, European Literature nevertheless represents texts that were originally published in numerous languages including ancient and modern Greek, French, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, German, Russian, Italian, Scandinavian and Slavic and Eastern European languages.
From Roman historical texts to accounts from World War I and II, medieval drama to light modern urban romance, European Literature represents an engaging and interesting diversity of subject matter and styles.
