According to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, eating disorder patients have the highest mortality rate among individuals who suffer from mental illness and nearly half of all Americans know someone with an eating disorder.
The topic of eating disorders is vast. Many different aspects of these complex conditions will be explored, including treatment, healing, recovery and current news on anorexia, bulimia, binge/compulsive eating, eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOS). This topic will also explore other factors such as depression, laxatives and cutting.
