» cottagewriter - Your Stories about Intuition and Clairsentience Hello! Use this thread to share your stories and questions about intuition--especially your clairsentience. Have you ever had a "gut feeling?" or taken on someone else's emotion?I'll check back from time to time, but if you have a personal question that you don't want to share on the board, email me directly at jennifer@creativespirit.com. Have a great day! Jennifer -- posted by cottagewriter » Deb_TT - Great topic! Jennifer I stumbled onto this and glad to see this here. I know I listen to that gut feeling and the times that I haven't I have found out later I should have gone with it.I also experience something called truth shivers or a tingling in my hands, which tells me what is being said is the truth. I have a hard time in crowds until I learned how to shield myself from other's energies. I can easily take on someone else's pain or grief even anger. Until I learned what I was experiencing I really had a tough time. Now I can almost always pick up if it is me or if it is someone else's energies. I have had an instance a few years back with a recurring dream about something bad going to happen to a family member on a specific date. On that date my husband's grandma had a stroke and passed away a week later. It shook me up a lot, mainly knowing something was going to happen and not have the answers to try to help prevent it. -- posted by Deb_TT » cottagewriter - gut feelings Hi,Intuition is based in many chakras--the most reliable intuition comes from your sixth chakra, which is clairvoyance. I wrote about clairsentience first because most of us have strong clairsentience, and it's good to get to know where some of those feelings are coming from. Stay tuned for more about clairvoyance, telepathy and some of the other intuitive gifts!! -- posted by cottagewriter » aelaine - Never really understood... Hi! I'm new to all of this, even though all of my life I have had weird experiences, such as knowing when a close relative died before anyone else in my immediate family even knew about it. The same thing goes for knowing the phone would ring before it even did and often knowing who was calling before I saw the caller ID. With my husband and my younger sister and even sometimes with my mother I can tell what they are thinking and finish their sentences before they do. At times I have even been able to say what they are thinking before they have even said anything at all. When I was a teenager my friends used to try to seperate me and my sister when we played games because we were so connected that we knew exactly what the other had in mind and would therefore almost always win the games. Also, I have a sense of empathy, in that, when someone is feeling joy or grief I can feel it almost as strongly as them (even if I have no reason too), also, when someone close to me is experiencing pain I will often experience their pain as well in exactly the same part of the body where they are experiencing the pain. The list of things like this goes on and on.Recently, however, my feelings have been getting stronger and more accurate. What made me finally look into the idea of Clairsentience/intuition was something that happened today (it just came after a series of things that have been happening to me). I am in my senior year of college and I have three classes every Tuesday and Thursday. My first and last classes on those days are lectures. The one in the middle is a PE class. Today, I had just finished my first class and had walked back to my car. As I reached my car I had the strangest feeling. It was very strong and it was as if I could feel it within me. I knew that something was going to be different with my PE class. The feeling slowly became more defined until I just knew that class was going to be cancelled. I sat down in my car and tried to shake off the feeling, because after all, this was just the second day of actual excersing in the class and no teacher ever cancelled class on the second day, ever! My body still wouldn't let go of the feeling however, so I only got partially ready for class and then I walked over to the building. I stood and waited and one of my classmates finally arrived and waited with me...but guess what...after much searching, we discovered the class had been cancelled because the teacher was sick. When I found that out I got kind of freaked. It was just too weird to know beforehand by some feeling that the class would be cancelled. Since these feelings have been happening with an insane degree of frequency and accurateness lately I have started to wonder if what I am feelng is something psychic. Can anyone help me with this? I would appreciate any input! -- posted by aelaine » spiritalk - Re: Never really understood... In response to Never really understood... posted by aelaine:Intuition is your sensitivities opening to psychic/mediumship abilities and talents. You are definitely sensitive! even to the point of Empathy! (another word to look up for your own interest...but can explain here too) The first step in all this is...TAKE CHARGE! To do this, you recognize that something is happening and you want to know what, where, why, how, etc. of the whole thing.
