In response to I never thought about posted by jerrib:

Its a great idea Jerri! Here in Florida, rainlilies, zephyranthes species are a wonderful bulb that blooms year round in Florida and does very well in full sun or partial shade. Now is a good time to refrigerate bulbs like narcissus, crocus, tulips, and hyacinths for early spring blooms. You can even plant Florida daffodil varieties that naturalize themselves and come back year after year.
