» DustyTrails - What are the measurements, patterns, spacing of the Three?

I have blue, yellow and red native corn coming; an old type squash, and anasaze and shield type beans.

I am in Idaho blow sand so the cup idea is out. Everything is sand.

I take it that the corn is planted in perhaps a two and a half foot diameter circle with the corn spaced every six inches; beans three inches inside the corn and squash at three feet every foot?

What type of soil prep does one do? I am thinking composted cow manure down deep with lots of hay mulch to keep the squash off the ground and weeds from taking the place over.
