I've been writing science fiction since about the second grade, and while I did amuse fellow students and the occasional teacher, it is only recently that I have begun to produce what can be termed as publishable science fiction. My favorite author? I can't pick just one! It depends on my mood. Connie Willis is great. Kurt Vonnegut is one of my personal deities Philip K. Dick has been a tremendous influence. Recently, I have become engrossed in the work of Kage Baker. She's an extremely talented and prolific writer. I'll stop now, but there's a lot of writers who I love and haven't even mentioned. I would definitely categorize Piers Anthony as fantasy. Thanks for the welcome note. I am looking forward to being part of this community. I think I'll have a lot of fun.
