hiis there anyone starting out like me? finally taking myself seriously enough to get past the fear and put something on paper so wondering, are there any other "still-on-page60" out there?

Actually, I am in the infancy of my writing "career", which is why I was interested to take on this topic, "Resources For Writers." I am hoping as I go along and learn things, I can pass that info along to others.I know there are many, many very experienced writers who read this topic as well, and it is my hope that the information I pass along will be on use to them, too, and that these writing brethren will share their hard-gained knowledge with us here in the discussion area. I am also very open to suggestions from readers of the topic on what sort of content they are seeking...or, a guest editor from time to time. The topic is meant to be a resource for new and experienced alike.
Lots and lots of hurdles to get past as we begin...and sometimes, not knowing what we don't know is more frightening than having facts/advice at hand.
Good luck to you, Ifyanafulu, as you begin your writing journey.
