What I wonder is, where do we draw the line when it comes to the freedom to choose? Usually, someone's right to chose ends when their choice victimizes another. That's where laws come into play. One can't be free to chose to rape or steal because it victimizes another person. If someone is personally pro-life and believes that abortion takes the life of the child, I'm interested in knowing why they feel a woman should be free to chose to abort her baby. If we don't have a right defend the basic right to life, why do we have any laws in this country? Thanks for bringing to light such an important subject. -- posted by FeatureWriter » houston_aggie - Re: choice is about more than the battle over a woman's right t In response to message posted by Nancy_Coulter:You've blurred the definition of pro-life and pro-choice. At it's core, the pro-life movement isn't concerned with each woman's individual choice to abortion, but rather each unborn child's right to life. One couldn't be pro-choice, a supporter of abortion rights, and pro-life. They are polar opposites. It's important to make this distinction as those such as yourself would attempt to dilute the pro-life movement. -- posted by houston_aggie
