» BeckySAHM - Maya Angelou

Megan, thank you for the article on Maya Angelou. Maya has experienced so much in her lifetime, I'm sure it was difficult to narrow it down into a short biography. I found I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings to be eye-opening and disturbing, but wonderfully honest and realistic. Phenomenal Woman is my favorite of her poems, but some of my other favorites are My Arkansas, And Still I Rise, and On the Pulse of the Morning.
