It certainly could not have been easy or simple to be a woman of royal blood in the 18th century, with arranged marriages between strangers, often in foreign countries and with a foreign language and culture to absorb.

Thanks for an interesting "portrait" of Marie Antoinette, who probably did not deserve the harsh treatment by the French people.
