» Dantessa - Re: Re: Re: We have a winner!

I still prefer to be called "Dante" when possible but since it's a "common" nick it's taken everywhere I go! *g* I was fortunate it was available at EWitch.

As for auctions...my enthusiasm has really bottomed out. EW went through so many changes that made it so difficult for me to post anything there. Not to mention errors I kept getting with my nickname having to be reset, etc. I was really disappointed because I'd sold there for a long time, like you, and I'd also supported it with advertising etc.

Ebay is ebay...I really don't like it but it's the best place to reach a wide audience. I did my readings through ebay and amassed a nice clientele, who now contact me on my own for readings so it's a sporadic but faithful income.

I just find posting and maintaining auctions is soooooo much effort and most the time it's not worth it. How about you?

In response to message posted by Dantessa:

*grin*

That's where I've been spending a lot of time...selling off a lot of stuff I've amassed over the years as well as some of the new...

Was I surprised when I found out E-Witch was gone...well, surprised for a moment anyway. I knew it was only a matter of time, for the reasons you already mentioned...

I post mainly at Auction Witch now. It's a breeze! I find it much easier to work with this interface than with the one I remember from E-Witch. I've gotten to the point where I can zip an auction in within a moment or two LOL

I'm also frequenting Mystic-Auction and Epaganauctions. They all have the same interface, so I'm spreading out a little. I have a fondness for Auction Witch though, as I'd discovered it in it's early stages, and have made some really good friends there. *grin* Come by and see! I've put the new links in...

But, here's one to my own page..

» cjosie9 - Warnings = Rosemary & Lavender

It is wise to be wise before using any herbal- they are dangerous. As indicated by the following article

Rosemary is generally considered safe and devoid of adverse side effects when taken in recommended doses. However, there have been occasional reports of allergic reactions. Large quantities of rosemary leaves, particularly due to the rosemary oil, can cause serious adverse side effects, including coma, spasm, and vomiting, and, in some cases, pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs), which can result in death. Do not use rosemary in quantities larger than those used in foods if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Rosemary oil, taken orally, can trigger convulsions; epileptic patients should exercise caution in using rosemary and never ingest quantities larger than those used in foods. Topical preparations containing rosemary oil are potentially harmful to hypersensitive people who may be allergic to camphor.

In a laboratory study, rosemary extract increased the effectiveness of doxorubicin in treating human breast cancer cells. The relevance of these findings is not known; additional clinical studies are needed to confirm these effects in people. If you are currently being treated with doxorubicin, consult with your health care practitioner before adding rosemary to your treatment regimen.
Pregnancy:
Avoid during the first three months but okay to cautiously use during remaining months: Fennel (sweet), Peppermint, Rose and Rosemary

Lavender:
Precautions

There are no side effects reported, although there is a slight risk of allergic reaction to lavender in certain people

Thank you for posting that information Carla!

It has been my understanding that the amount of Rosemary in Earl Grey blends, among other blends, is quite safe, however - anyone with an allergy, no matter how small, to Rosemary, would get sick.

I think that is one point I am always remiss in including with my articles that are on herbals - something I must remedy in future!

Thanks again - and welcome to WPSHM!

Hi jodi! Great article!

I've never tried this tech. in my healing sessions, but it interests me, i may just try it and then let you know smile

I'm curious about your comment about removing dark negitive energy. I guess because I learned that all energy has a reason, not always a good reason, but a reason for being with a person.

Sometimes there's something to be learned from the darkness and removing it before the lesson is learned may cause something else to occur, strong sometimes, to get the lesson learned.

For about a year i had very bad nightmares of someone or something in my house. Each dream was worse, the thing got closer and closer until the last one where it was sitting on me, pinning me down. It was terriffing, i could move, in the dream and after i forced myself awake.

Somehow i knew that this wasn't 'just a nightmare' and i confronted it (on my terms) and discovered that it was the 'dark' portion of my persoanlity. All the stuff i keep hiden, manesfting itself to say "HEY pay attention to me."

If i'd just banished it or removed it I never would have learned that lesson.

Maybe we're talking about two different energies here and i'm just confused. I'd like to know more about the tech.'s you use with clients, if you'd care to share. Then I'd understand better.

thanks for the great article and all your help with mine smile

Anne

» deesthing2 - Help with crystals

I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is a crystal (or anything else that can help) that can help me establish and keep my boundaries.

I'm seeing a counselor about this but it's an ongoing problem for me. And a very damaging one at that!

Hi Dee!

My suggestion would be to get a fairly big (about 2" diameter) piece of Hematite. It is the best stone, in my opinion, for grounding. This should also help your boundary situation.

Hope this helped!

» educatedhands - The complete book of Chinese health balls

Hello Jodie,

My name is Vincent, and I read your review on the complete book of Chinese Health Balls and the book is great for the history but I would have preferred better training examples, however I had this website www.educatedhands.com before I read the book. At this website I teach you how to use 2, 3, and 4, Chinese health balls using three different streaming videos for each lesson. I hope in some way this website can help you.

Thank you,

Vincent
