your article actually is very timely, since i just exercised the options i received from an employer. i made the choice to do this because i needed the extra money to pay some bills that were just getting to be too much. there didn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel, and then i remembered i had these options.

i got in touch with a broker and he did all the work for me. i just filled out the forms. now i'm waiting for the check to come in the mail.

i think stock options are a GREAT thing for employers to do for their employees. i wish more of mine from the past would have done that!
