» agitatedmom - Agitated Depression

About 18 months ago I was diagnosed as having agitated depression, which I thought was part of post-partum depression. My doctor put me on Paxil, and I was doing so well I dismissed the medicine, and determined that I had gotten better on my own. We recently moved, due to my husband's new job, and currently have no medical insurance for me. I ran out of Paxil and have no way to pay for any refills or doctor visits. I've been off of it for about 4 weeks, and have noticed that I'm starting to yell and spank my kids more. I fight with my husband all the time. By the way, he doesn't know I was on Paxil (he used it against me once, so I've never told him about it since). He can't figure out what is wrong with me, but I know almost for sure that it is this "agitated depression", the doctor told me about. However, I can't seem to find ANY information about it anywhere.

Has anyone else ever heard of, or been diagnosed with agitated depression. I'm alone and have no one to talk to....Help!!!
