Hi Clayton, your article certainly gives great advice. It's hard to resist not to want to take the animal home and try to help it, but as you say, it is best to leave it, unless it's injured. A couple of years ago I found a fawn in a thicket in the woods. A little buck! It was adorable, of course, and I was tempted to just take it back to the house with me beause I thought it might be abandoned. But I left it alone, hoping that the mother was somewhere near-by. A few weeks later, I saw him again, this time with the mother, grazing in the field.
