» Renie_Burghardt - Terrible News Continues Hi Connie, how are you? I hope, well. Thank you for continuing to update us on this terrible situation. The American people must demand that wild buffalo be treated like wildlife, which they are, and not managed as livestock. And as wildlife, they need to be protected for future generations. The killing of buffalo's must stop. Please speak out to save one of our national treasures! Take care, Connie. Renie-- posted by Renie_Burghardt » ConnieT - Re: Terrible News Continues Hi RenieI'm good here and hope the same is true for you. Thanks for your support on this topic and I agree with every word you said. The buffalo need to be managed in a civilized way. Unnecesary slaughtering needs to be stopped. Mike Mease of Buffalo Field Campaign made this statement awhile back, "Montana continues to capture and kill these animals because they have no tolerance for bison in the state. The real reason for the slaughter is rooted in a bureaucratic power struggle for control of public lands. The only losers are wildlife, the American public, and the local economy." And I agree with every word he said. Thanks for stopping by Renie, take care! -- posted by ConnieT
