This is a great article. I'm glad I ran across it. The photos are incredible. Thanks for sharing them.

One morning last summer when my grandsons and I were out on an early morning errand, we saw a doe and her fawn cross the road. Brandon was the first to spot her. She was standing high on a hill beside the road, watching traffic. When we passed, she led her fawn down the hill and crossed the road. An incredible experience. I've seen deer in their natural habitat before, but the boys had only seen one once before. They talked about it for weeks.

I enjoy watching wildlife especially bears. This summer we're planning an earlier than usual camping trip and hopefully the bears and elk will still be around before they head to the back country.
