» mastiffs2005 - Hi There! I think goldenrod is one of the prettiest things around here in Tennessee. There's a lady down the street who has an entire garden of just goldenrod, and it's stunning! In my herbal, it says the goldenrod "Solidago virgauria" is the one to use as a remedy, and it's used for cystitis and urethritis and such... and it's a good antiflammatory and antiseptic I really enjoyed your article and think I'd better subscribe to your topic so I can start identifying some of my wildflowers! Thanks & have a great day! -- posted by mastiffs2005 » greggpasterick - Re: Hi There! In response to message posted by DarleneCheek:Hi right back at ya, Darlene! Sorry I'm replyin' a couple days late(r); my wife and I have been on the road, movin' from Long Beach, Cal to Boulder, Colorado. We'll be settlin' in over the the next few days... Anyway...glad ya enjoyed the article. Goldenrod is gorgeous, huh? Not to mention such a sunny sight as the season wanes... Your neighbor's garden must be incredible... In response to message posted by DarleneCheek:Howdy again Darlene, Yeah, but it's what we've been doin' the past nearly 4 years. In the stranglehold of midlife misery, my wife and I quit our jobs and sold our house and left central/still rural Ohio ... We've become gypsy innkeepers, beginning up on Lake michigan, then AShville, NC, Donner Summit in California, the Gulf of Mexico in Bay St Louis, MS, the southern Sierra Nevadas, Long Beach/Southern CAl and now here, in boulder... We're gonna try to stay here for a year, rest, maybe save money, and investigate a few other things... I expet to self-publish a book by the end of the year... So, how is it you came to find my articles? -- posted by greggpasterick
