of wildflower pictures when we were in Arizona and New Mexico and ocotillo was one of the plants I saw - I knew this was your article when I looked in the discussion area when I saw ocotillo in the title.This definitely is the time of year to see desert wildflowers - wish I could take another trip to do just that!

We're probably gonna miss quite a bit of that in some places, but time it just right in others, particularly where we go up the sides of some hilly hills...
