» feistyfemale56 - Sounds like great advice Karen,I found your article most interesting, and was thinking as I read through it that the advice you give to the person interested in learning more about wicca, witchcraft, and paganism really could be about any subject matter as far as how to go about learning morei in a useful and structured fashion. -- posted by feistyfemale56 » PandoraB - Recommended Reading For people looking to go beyond Wicca 101 but don't know where to go, I suggest a little book called "The Well Read Witch: Essential Books for Your Magickal Library" by Carl McColman. This guide contains more than 400 reviews over thirty-something chapters that are neatly categorized. It covers tremendous range and has everything from introductory titles to intermediate and advanced and even gets specific with recommendations for those interested in shamanism, herbalism, psychology, and much more. -- posted by PandoraB » terpette - Re: Recommended Reading In response to Recommended Reading posted by PandoraB:I haven't had a look at that book (not a bit Carl McColman fan, but that's another topic for another time). I usually try to get recommendations for books from folks I know... folks whose opinions I trust and who I know to be knowledgable on things. The recommendations are a little more personal that way. My vote for a list of books that will help you move beyond introductory topics is at http://www.annwnscauldron.com/temple/les... Though the books on this list aren't broken down by beginner/intermediate/advanced, there's a good cross-section of topics. And you can always contact the webmistress through her forum at http://forums.delphiforums.com/annwn1/st... What can I say... I like plugging my friends. ;) Karen -- posted by terpette
