» LadyKelien - This was a very nice article

I really liked this article. Im one of those people who is standing with one foot in the broom closet and one foot out of it. But, because I dont have a "Normal" Job Its easier to be out there than it is with family.

My family knows. Sort of. My mother, sister and my mothers sisters all know. My father knows but I deny it and he ignores it. We live that way because One we live in the same house, and two I know what would follow if I did tell him. Hes a preacher. My mother divorcing him nearly ended that. My being completely out of the closet would end it. Hes happier pretending he doesnt know. And Im happier pretending that he doesnt know.

Im completely out on the internet. There isnt anyone Ive ever met on the internet that doesnt know Im pagan. Ive always taught my children to be honest. So when my sons very christain teacher started talking about christmas and how it was Jesus's birthday He told her she was wrong. It was the day the Sun was reborn to the Goddess. That went over like a lead of bricks let me tell ya. That is part of why I homeschool now. I dont want my children being treated diffrently because their mother believes something diffrent than the rest of the majority in this community.

My hubby wouldnt dare say he is pagan at work. None of them go to church but, this is the south. Were lucky we finally convinced his boss that he needed to hire a women who applied to work in the shop. She knows what shes doing and is helping make things a lot easier for Bear. But, when your boss is so old school he doesnt think a women can build cabinets you know you will have a problem if the issues of religon or politics come up
