My wife, sister, and I also climbed Mt Pierce in less than ideal weather. I will have to do the hike again just so I can see what it looks like from the summit. Btw Alan Hale, Jr. played the skipper, not his father who was a buddy of Errol Flynn.

Wow! Nice catch on Alan Hale. They look like absolute twins, and I just assumed it was the Hale of skipper fame!
