» kkhb59 - How to?

Glad to find your article. We bought our home with two existing ponds, they survived the first winter with a little common sense & no real knowledge, but I feel I could have done better. I have been told that I can overwinter all the plants, some by cutting back, and others by storing in the fridge.(ugh!) I would love to hear more about how to do this as the expense each Spring could be better spent on..... oh gee I don't know...... maybe groceries or new shoes!

Better late than never!

Just thought I would commend your enthusiasm, I never thought of using the fridge! My husband is a champion forager and I am afraid he would think tubers or plants were the start of an interesting stir-fry. I had a few suggestions in the Over-wintering article. hope they helped.
