Bush on Dams

I was dismayed (but not surprised) to hear the comments by Pres. Bush during his recent visit to the Pacific Northwest. He appeared to use the recent blackout in the NE to give credence to his disagreement with breaching dams. Having worked in the energy arena for several years, I disagree that the two ideas (energy availability and lots of dams) are mutually dependent. Anyone have a different opinion?
