The message I received was water is more dangerous than fire...

That's an interesting suggestion. I think it would depend on whether one were caught in a housefire or a flood, since fire would likely seem more dangerous than water in a fire, and water more dangerous than fire during a flood. I am not really sure how one would go about testing such an idea. I know that fire is usually a fast, short-lived phenomenon, while water can be quick as in a flood, or slow, and over time, water can dig huge canyons (like the Grand Canyon). So in that event, water would seem to be more powerful!

Any other ideas out there?
