» Tina_Coruth - Wonderful!

Hi Jerri,

What a wonderful article. Sometimes I think we tend to take trees for granted. I enjoyed reading "Trees" again, Nash's parody (I had never seen the parody!) and your article. I love the photo, too. Thank you! smile

Tina

Jerri,

I enjoyed your article very much and thank you for stopping by to read my somewhat related article, "Walking In a Wooded Winter Wonderland". I am sad to hear that you will no longer be hosting the topic at Suite101. I have enjoyed your articles as well as your comments. Good luck with all that you do!

Thanks, Lisa. I do not host this site anymore, but am still stopping by to reply to comments. Hope they find someone to take over soon.

Trees do have a spiritual majesty; what a great way to put it.

Isn't Ogden Nash a kick? We've moved and I can't find my poetry book yet, so I just may have to get another.

Thanks for stopping in. I'll be a regular visitor to your tasty site.

Roslinds, such a beautiful thought in your song. Thanks for sharing.

I guess I can't imagine life without trees. We lived in a forest on the west side and I'm adjusting to being out of firs, hemlocks, etc., and now into pines. All trees are beautiful. If folks can't see that, they are missing a very important part of life.

Best to you, and I will remember to sit by a tree when I need to!

love trees. My business involves planting trees and advising people on which trees are best suited for their properties. I feel fortunate to be able to spend time doing what I love. I wish people could accept that a tree is valuable just because it is.

You said it plain and simple, Bob. A tree is a beautiful thing. How exciting to be involved teaching others about trees.

Well, come on back! Washington would love to have you.

How neat you planted an evergreen and have been able to watch it grow. My daughter did that at an elementary school when she was about 10, so it would be 30 years old by now. One of these days we'll have to go back and look; it was in Poulsbo.

Glad you are enjoying surfing Washington online, at least. Thanks for "digging up bones." It's nice to visit an old article now and then.
