» Tina_Coruth - What a great area!

Hi Jerri,

What a great area! I love Everybody's Store. It looks like everybody's store right down to the merchandise they sell. I'd love to browse through there for real.

I'm off to check out Skagit River Journal! Thank you!

Tina

What a lovely area, Jerri. I love, Everybody's Store, too. Their home made sausage must be tasty! I'm a sausage lover. Hehe. The entire area sounds beautiful and quaint. Just my kind of place. Maybe one day...I enjoyed the article, as always.

Hope you're having a great time with the grandkids. Take care. Renie

Joy: It really is an interesting place, but then so much of Washington is.

I,too, love unusual places like this. Thanks for stopping. I'd love to hear about some of the stores by you!

I hope you do make the trip and let me know what you think, Mary Ellen. Your mother is so lucky to have you as a daughter. You do have fun together. Wish I could be a mouse on your "surprise" trips.

I'll try to write about Sedro Wooley soon. It really is an interesting place. This week I have my grandkids, so my mind has been focused elsewhere.

Thanks for visiting; I do so enjoy it when you stop in.

I think you'll find the Skagit River Journal very fascinating, Renie. Lots of colorful, local history.

Well, you just have to come visit. That's all there is to it! When shall I get your room ready? I'd love to take you around to some of our interesting state sites. We have lots of places "full of character."

I've got your guest room ready, Renie. Get those kids to care for the animals, wander northwest and we'll go visit the store and get some sausage! Wouldn't that be fun?

Having a great time with the grandkids. Went to the fair and yesterday the zoo! This weekend my entire family will be visiting. Excited to have them home.

It has been almost three years since I wrote this, RD, but I hope it's still the same. I'm glad you are wandering off your island home for some adventure elsewhere!
