» Dubh_Sidhe - Interview

How wonderful it is to be in the position to leave one job for something one REALLY enjoys! Sunny made the move, and in doing so is following a dream that is also giving others pleasure. Way to go. Enjoyed the interview, and pic Jerri.

What a magnificent state--Washington!

Great story and interview, Jerri! Thank you for sharing it. Do you think as we age, we tend more to the arts?

You're right, Virgina, but the reason lots of folks don't live their dream is they don't take the risk. Sunny was smart!

Glad you enjoyed Sunny's work.

Since you asked:

I think as we age there's less inner competition with our real desires in life. We know what we want; we know our time is limited; we go after it. I think we get "back to the basics" and what's important to us. The arts are really a part of that if we are educated and motivated to continue giving to life.

I also think folks do what they didn't have time to do when they had career obligations: woodcarving, painting, dancing, etc.

My opinion, strictly.

Any other opinions, folks?

» Red - great article...

Jerri, sorry I was so long getting over to read this great article. I am glad that Sunny has been able to achieve her dreams.

The photos of the deer is great. I look forward to the book. It sounds like it will be fantastic. Thanks for doing such a great job of interviewing Sunny.

Hope your weather is cooler than ours. Take care my friend.

Hi Mary:

With all these grest sites at the Suite it's difficult to keep up on reading, isn't it?

Sunny is really talented and what I'm going to like about the book is the instruction on "when" to see nature's wonders. Usually there's only the "where" in this kind of book.

I've got mine on order. I'll stop back by and let folks know about it when it comes.

Thanks for stopping, Mary.

» doveflys - Nature Photograher

Jerri,

Totally enjoyed this interview article. This has given me a tremendous amount of much needed inspiration to keep plugging along on the sometimes rocky road to pursue my dream and become a freelance nature writer/photograher. I got some nice tips to help. Thank you very much.

I'm glad, Lou. I hope Sunny's book is out soon so we may all see it. Do keep pursuing that dream. You're an excellent writer. We all have to take that first step. You are already writing articles here which could someday be put in a book. Add your photography and there you go! Best to you.

» jerrib - My book arrived yesterday

My only disappointment is the photos are in black-and-white! Very useful info, though, as far as seasonal experiences.
