Thanks for opening the discussion area at this article. Always enjoy your visits and comments here. And I was pleased to see your college references in your article. One of my daughters went to Western for two years. It's a beautiful campus. She met her husband there. Bellingham is such a beautiful town. -- posted by jerrib » jerrib - Re: WOW! In response to WOW! posted by Tina_Coruth:Thanks, Tina. It always amazes me that you take time to check out my links, too. I appreciate that. I know a lot of folks just skim the article and don't follow the links. Glad you enjoyed them. I know what you mean about college. I will never stop learning, so get the urge every once in a while to go back, too. But other interests seem to take precedence at the moment. It is fun to learn. I'm working on a cookbook and will take a class next month on self-publishing from a local community college. They offer lectures from local printers, local self-published authors and local bookstores. Should be very valuable information. Thanks, again, for stopping in and leaving comments. Always appreciate you visits. -- posted by jerrib » Red - Re: Re: WOW! In response to Re: WOW! posted by jerrib:Jerri, WOW! is right. What a wonderful choice of learning institutions the young people have in your area. I enjoyed the links, especially the one about the U District Fair. That sounds like a lot of fun. Another great article. I always learn something new each time I visit your topic. Terrific job. -- posted by Red » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: WOW! In response to Re: Re: WOW! posted by Red:Thank you, Mary. I don't know how I'll ever in my lifetime run out of material for this topic, as there is so much to WA, as you probably feel about your Canada. I thought this would be helpful to folks looking for higher institutional learning in one place. One-stop shopping for education. The University of Washington has a wonderful distance learning curriculum. You can earn credits at home. Thanks for your continued support, Mary! -- posted by jerrib » Red - Re: Re: Re: Re: WOW! In response to Re: Re: Re: WOW! posted by jerrib:Jerri, The subject matter is endless, isn't it? All we have to do is a little investigating and we have another article. In the meantime we learn a lot about our countries, provinces and states. -- posted by Red » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: WOW! In response to Re: Re: Re: Re: WOW! posted by Red:You're right, Mary. I have learned a lot about my state and continue to realize how lucky I am to live here. -- posted by jerrib

Great tour of the educational facilities in Washington. Definitely one-stop shopping in education for Washington students. Maybe I should do the same thing for my Texas topic one of these days. -- posted by Joy Butler » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: Gonzaga In response to Re: Re: Gonzaga posted by JButler:I think it would be helpful for Texas folks to have links all in one place, Joy. It's a big internet world to search in and having links handy cuts out a lot of work for students and parents who are researching educational opportunities. Thanks for stopping by, Joy. I'll look forward to your article if you decide to do it. -- posted by jerrib « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
