» SIDream - The Role of Leo... Ms. StarrFirst, let me say excellent article! this is my new found favorite. I learned a lot of info on Leo that I didn't know before. What I want to ask you, is that in your expertise of the Wallflowers, in your opinion, if Leo had lived what role do you think he would have with the Wallflowers today if any? Do you think that the fame (When I say fame I mean the 2 years of non-stop touring, millions of interviews. etc) would have been too much for him or do you think that they would have made him an official member? I look forward to your reply and your future writings. ~Sarah. -- posted by SIDream » starr33 - New Album Thanks Sarah,My knowledge of Leo LeBlanc is, unfortunately, mostly limited to the information that I posted about him in my article, so I'm completely guessing here. But, from what I've read about Leo, I wouldn't have expected him to have officially joined the band. He had a history of playing for many artists and musicians. I would think that he would have wanted the freedom to have continued playing with whomever he pleased without being tied down to any one particular band or artist. Yes, he was much older than the members of the Wallflowers. As we've heard, touring is very strenuous; it probably would have been a factor against him joining the band. As for fame, he played with many famous artists in the past, so it probably wouldn't have fazed him that much. Again, I'm guessing here, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has more information about Leo.
