» elaine70 - Swedish Weave Patterns

There are two pattern books that I enjoy using. One is Monk's Cloth Diamond Afghans by Marilyn T. Magly and the second is Learn to Make Monk's Cloth Afghan's again by Marilyn T. Magly. They are available in most wool shops. They are put out by the American School of Needlework. I too have many many of the Nettie's Needleworks patterns but really enjoy using the Diamond pattern book. Both these books are soft cover. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

» kydds4kids - Swedish Weaving

Hi,
I'm new to Swedish Weaving and am having a difficult time finding patterns for small projects like Christmas stockings and Christmas designs, and other holiday related items. I'm hoping someone out there will read this and share some patterns or even suggest the best pattern book to buy. I'm not interested at this time in doing a project as large as an afghan but would appreciate help finding patterns for smaller projects. Thanks in advance to those who truly want to share this wonderful craft with others.
Pat (kydds4kids)

There is a free pattern of a cute tree on crafts-america.com then go to monks cloth afghans. It could be used on many projects, but I have used it for an afghan and it turns out quite nice. I am looking for baby afghan patterns if anyone is willing to share.

the 2 pattern booklets that elaine mentioned are for sale on the website stitcheri.com, I also was interested in the 2 books, but wasn't sure if they were worth ordering, it's hard to tell how many patterns the booklets include. kcrafts

» velvetvixen - would love some patterns

hello to all
my name is shelly and I am new to swedish weaving.
I would love to get some free patterns as money right now is a big issue. Once I understand the technique I am sure I will be able to design some and post them on here. I have done many crosstitch charts designs for people that have needed a special one. but right now i am trying this weaving project. thank you
