» Fort_Spunky - Happy Valentine's Day

Hi Gretchen,

I hope you're enjoying a sweet Valentine's day that includes your favorite things--maybe watching your kitties play or a new tube of paint in a luscious color or some wonderful watercolor paper...or, oh yeah, a big old box of chocolates. "They" have finally come around to our way of thinking that chocolate is good for us. Hooray!!

With sweet Valentine wishes,
Linda

Thanks, Linda,
Actually, I have been doing some reading and trying to get my computer back to working.
Isn't it wonderful that "they" finally have realized what we've known all along! Chocolate IS good for us! That is so nice to know. But not knowing it hadn't slowed me down, anyhow.

I have ordered a plum-colored place setting of the new Fiestaware. It will require caulifower, mashed potatoes, fillet of sole, mustard sauce, and other light foodstuffs to show it off. Actually, I like the new shapes. I am glad it is available.

I hope you had a nice Valentine's Day.
Thank you for the nice wishes.

Oooh, Plum Fiesta. That's a luscious color. I like it! (Your menu sounds good, too.) I've been drooling over the new yellow called Sunflower. I may have to give in to temptation. lol

By the way, I sent you an email a couple of days ago. I'm wondering if I need to resend it? With your computer problems, it may have gotten lost. Just had a couple of questions about the art event.

Linda,
I broke down easily and got a large bowl in Sunflower, especially because I don't usually like yellow in my house. And I LOVE it! It is gorgeous.

I didn't see a message from you in any of my e-mail boxes, so please resend it. In the meantime, I might have answered your Q in the Event area, since I went over there and added a few words. Thanks, though. I hope you submit something, because hey! Dewey put your topic in here, so you belong here!smile

Gretchen, I re-sent the email. Hope it get there this time. :-)

I think it's neat that you took a risk with the yellow bowl and that you love it. I think that color of yellow is so cheerful. It makes me happy just to look at it. (I feel myself weakening...)

Yep, Linda,
I got it! I guess I did lose some things, and yours was not the only one. Thanks for resending.

Geez - just get the yellow bowl! It is really very nice, and we use it all the time. smile

makes me want to run out and buy some Fiesta Ware too. I love looking at it in the Betty Crocker catalog.

I missed Valentine's Day, Gretchen. Hope it was a great one for you.

Thanks, Jerri.
My husband surprised me with a cute card and a box of Mrs. See's chocolates. Nice! I hope you had a nice V-Day also.
