Hope you are daily recovering from your surgery.

I have seen Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Leicester here in the Seattle Art Museum - Bill Gate's collection. Is that what you're referring to, or another codex? It was truly amazing - the graphics he drew to go with it really made it a masterpiece.

I love Calligraphy, but never did develop the desire to do it that much - just enjoy looking at others' work.

Enjoyed this.

Thanks, Jerri. I envy your having seen the one that Gates bought. So far, I haven't seen any. But there are quite a few in Europe, I understand. Especially one in or near Florence. But, then, Vinci, where Leonardo was da, is just a short distance from Florence. I do enjoy the melding of word and image! Glad you do too!
