Weeping Cherry trees
This archived discussion is "read only". « Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Next » » Lorixpro - Weeping Cherry tree disease My weeping cherry has an amber colored sap on some of the branches. Several of the branches are dying. Some of the leaves are drying and curling. It is a beautiful 15-20 foot specimen. I suspect borers, but am not sure. Does anybody know what these symptons are caused by? How do I cure this problem?-- posted by Lorixpro

Hi Lori... I am only monitoring discussions in this topic because Carol Wallace has been ill. You can obtain a lot of answers and opinions to your questionss by posting at The Suite 101 Garden Community Forum at [http://www.suite101.com/gardencenter/] I'm almost positive someone would respond right away with an answer about the amber-colored sap. I was torn with spraying them with chemicals so my husband and I picked them off by hand everyday. Look out for them next year. Now, my cherry has dark sap at the bottom around the roots. anyone know what this is? -- posted by cirant » jhp001 - Re: Weeping Cherry Problem Please help before it's too late!!!!
