» Lorixpro - Weeping Cherry tree disease
My weeping cherry has an amber colored sap on some of the branches. Several of the branches are dying. Some of the leaves are drying and curling. It is a beautiful 15-20 foot specimen. I suspect borers, but am not sure. Does anybody know what these symptons are caused by? How do I cure this problem?-- posted by Lorixpro

I had holes in the leaves on my weeping cherry this summer and I saw the trouble makers - japanese beetles. I was torn with spraying them with chemicals so my husband and I picked them off by hand everyday. Look out for them next year.Now, my cherry has dark sap at the bottom around the roots. anyone know what this is?
