I was really pleased and surprised at how many of us really kept out appointment to go gardening. I was just as surprised at how it worked - the mental conversation I kept up with all of you while I was digging. We ought to shedule those days fairly regularly - at least in gardening season. Of course in winter we can have a garden club and talk about plans, good books, etc, to keep things going.

And you're right - it's way too warm for you to be planting bulbs - they are likely to get into the ground and start growing instead of spending the time they need to first establish roots.

Actually, given the recent weather it's even a bit warm here. It's just that I had so many plants to get in that I needed to get started - or else I might have ended up chopping holes in the ground in January!
