» Rosee - Re: Hi Rosee
In response to Hi Rosee posted by Liatris:I will keep my fingers crossed for you as well. Tomorrow I will be on the lookout for that detterent as well as the deer have decided start chomping on some of my plants as well. At least it has a lovely smell so that it makes it pleasant for you to use.
No heat wave up here just lots of rain, hail and bits of sun in between. The veggie garden is at a stand still but some of my flowers are doing okay. Of course the grass is so dark green and lush from all the rain. We had the whole property spray with a liquid weed and feed because most of our lawn was weeds. It is amazing the difference that one application made, I am thrilled. It is all those weeds that have to be cut down more often than the grass. My Dad is thrilled because he is the lawn cutter and the weeds were really bugging him.
He is quite the fussy which is really good on my end because he keeps the yard looking pretty neat.
Happy Gardening! Hugs, M

In response to hi posted by Liatris:It was not easy to get into this board. The link you e-mailed to me just didn't work for some time. I was on the verge of emailing you, but then I got in here.
I hope you had a nice reunion. We took a three week trip and it was wonderful. Now he is back at work, doing what he loves the most and I am back here, enjoying the summer with no worries of what is happening over there.
The sprinkler problem was no biggie. It just needed to be cleaned out and presto, everything can get drinks now. Just a little bit of information he forgot to give me.
We are suppose to be in a little heatwave. The temperature is rising, even as I type. Last summer was so very cool, I was beginning to wonder if the concerns about global warning were real.
Can I divide lilies any time during the summer?

» Liatris - lilies
I divide mine when ever I feel like it, any time of year. I moved some a couple weeks ago in this 90+ weather. There are a few yellowing leaves but they are still blooming. You just can't kill a lily unless you are constantly squirting it with round up and then it still tries to come back. Go for it.And Cerius, thanks for that link.
Hi cany. I know it is hot where you are!!! I don't know how much of this I can take. I like it in the 70's.
