» Red - Toronto's Moose...
Mary Ellen,What a terrific article. Not only have your told of the birth of our nation, but have written about Toronto's moose.
Not only were the antlers of those moose stolen, someone stole one of the moose. It was recovered though. The security really had to be stepped up.
If you follow this link and click on "moose spotting," you will find all of the names of the moose and photos of a lot of them. There is even a moose "grazing map" which shows were all of the moose were situated.
By the way, a little girl got one of those moose for her backyard. She was ecstatic.

In response to message posted by Red:You too caught me in process of putting up my article. The new system wouldn't let me change the date properly so I had to work while the article was already up. Anyhow Thanks for the visit, thanks for the info. I have found those links but did not know about the whole moose being stolen or the little girl. Thanks ME

Wow! You have some great photos of those moose. They're terrific. Glad I came back and was able to see them.Yes, the little girl loved the moose. It was on Toronto TV. Not sure what province you are in but we watch City TV News every night. The moose were always being featured on the newscast.
Terrific job, my friend. Keep up the good work.

In response to message posted by Renie_Burghardt:I am home and for a week we had snow which is uncommon here in the Vancouver area. We are now having spring like weather, with a few early blooms (crocus, snowdrops, primroses etc) I look forward to summer, although in the desert it is summer like and I will probably go back next month. Thanks for dropping by. ME
